Frequently asked questions
Clear answers about Semantic SEO, AI search and how we can work together.
The basics
What is Semantic SEO?
Semantic SEO optimizes a website around topics, entities and their relationships rather than isolated keywords, so search engines and AI models understand what your brand is about and trust it as a source.
What is a topical map?
A topical map is a structured plan of every topic, subtopic and question your site must cover to demonstrate topical authority, including how the pages link to each other.
What are entities and attributes?
An entity is a clearly identifiable thing such as a brand, person, product or concept. Attributes are the properties that describe it, such as price, features or location. Search engines and language models use both to understand and compare things.
AI search
What is the difference between AEO and GEO?
AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) structures content to be selected as a direct answer in search features such as featured snippets. GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) makes your content easier for AI tools such as ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews to find, understand and cite.
Can you guarantee that AI tools will cite my brand?
No. AI systems are not controlled by any consultant and their behaviour changes often. I can improve how clearly your brand and content are structured, sourced and connected, which raises your chances, but I do not promise specific citations or rankings.
Do you write content with AI?
AI is used as a drafting and research assistant, never as a final author. Every piece is planned from a semantic brief, fact-checked and edited by a human so it is accurate, useful and sounds like your brand.
Working together
Who is this service for?
Businesses, publishers, agencies and founders who want durable organic growth: sites with thin or scattered content, brands entering a competitive niche, and teams that need a clear content plan their writers can follow.
How long does Semantic SEO take to show results?
Most projects show early indexing and ranking improvements in 6 to 12 weeks, with compounding topical authority gains over 4 to 8 months depending on competition and site size. These are typical ranges, not guarantees.
What do I need to provide to get started?
Your website address, your main products or services, your target audience and markets, and read access to Google Search Console if you have it. A short call or form is enough to begin the audit.
